Ingredients

  • 8 oz raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano (or Italian seasoning)
  • 1 tsp red chili flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
  • Salt, to taste
 

Instructions

  1. Sauté Broccoli
    • Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a medium skillet over medium heat.
    • Add broccoli florets, season with salt and pepper.
    • Cook for 4–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly tender.
    • Remove broccoli from the skillet and set aside.
  2. Cook Shrimp
    • In the same skillet, add shrimp, paprika, and a pinch of salt.
    • Cook for 5–6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until shrimp are pink and fully cooked.
    • Transfer shrimp to a bowl and set aside.
  3. Make Garlic Butter Sauce
    • Add butter to the same skillet.
    • Once melted, stir in minced garlic, oregano (or Italian seasoning), and red chili flakes.
    • Cook for about 2 minutes, until the garlic is fragrant and golden.
  4. Combine & Finish
    • Return shrimp and broccoli to the skillet.
    • Add lemon slices and lemon juice.
    • Let everything simmer together for 2 minutes to meld the flavors.
  5. Serve
    • Garnish with chopped cilantro, if desired.
    • Serve hot, spooning the buttery sauce over the shrimp and broccoli.
