Ingredients:
1 pound bow tie pasta
1 cup diced cheddar cheese
1 cup diced cooked chicken
3 tablespoons finely chopped white onion
½ cup thawed frozen peas
½ cup finely chopped red bell pepper
Dressing:
1 cup mayonnaise
3 tablespoons sweet relish
2 teaspoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon yellow mustard
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Cook the pasta according to the package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside to cool.
In a small bowl, whisk together all the dressing ingredients until well combined.
In a large mixing bowl, toss together the cooked pasta, cheddar cheese, cooked chicken, onion, peas, and red bell pepper.
Pour the dressing over the salad and mix everything together until well coated.
Refrigerate the salad for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to blend.
