Notes

Ingredients

  • 8 oz corkscrew (rotini) pasta
  • ¾ cup Italian-style salad dressing
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 cups cooked rotisserie chicken, chopped
  • 12 slices turkey bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
  • 8 oz cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup Muenster cheese, cubed (or Monterey Jack as a swap)
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 cup green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 ripe avocado, peeled, pitted, and diced

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta
    • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
    • Add pasta and cook until al dente, about 10–12 minutes.
    • Drain and rinse under cold water to cool.
  2. Prepare the Dressing
    • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the Italian dressing and mayonnaise until smooth.
  3. Combine Ingredients
    • To the dressing, add the cooled pasta, chicken, turkey bacon, tomatoes, cheese, celery, bell pepper, and avocado.
    • Toss gently until everything is well coated.
  4. Serve and Enjoy!
    • Serve immediately or chill for 20–30 minutes for flavors to meld.

Recipe Tips

  • Cheese Swap: Monterey Jack works great if you don't have Muenster.
  • Make Ahead: Add avocado just before serving to keep it fresh.
