- Can I use stew meat instead of beef chuck roast?
Absolutely! Stew meat is a convenient option and will work just as well in this recipe. If you prefer, beef chuck roast will give you even more flavor and tenderness, but both are great choices. - How can I make the gravy thicker without using cornstarch?
No problem! You can use a simple roux made from equal parts flour and butter. Just cook them together until it forms a paste, then whisk it into your beef mixture for a thicker gravy. - Can I cook this in a slow cooker?
Yes! For a slow cooker version, brown the beef first, then transfer it to the slow cooker with the remaining ingredients. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the beef is tender and juicy. - What’s the best way to serve this dish?
Beef Tips and Gravy is fantastic served over mashed potatoes, rice, or even pasta. For extra goodness, add a side salad or some roasted veggies to round out the meal. - Can I freeze leftovers?
Of course! Leftovers freeze beautifully. Just store them in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 3 months. Reheat gently on the stovetop when you’re ready to enjoy them again.
